Jerk Honey Glazed Chicken (or Tofu!)

Sweet, spicy, and packed with warm Caribbean flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, wings, or tofu

  • ¼ cup Bee Works Jerk Honey

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)

  • ½ tsp ground allspice

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for extra heat

Instructions

  1. Make the glaze:
    In a bowl, whisk together jerk honey, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, garlic, allspice, and smoked paprika.

  2. Marinate:
    Toss chicken (or tofu) in half the glaze. Let marinate for 30 minutes–2 hours.

  3. Cook:

    • Grill: Medium heat, 5–7 minutes per side

    • Oven: 400°F (205°C) for 25–30 minutes

    • Pan-sear: Medium heat until caramelized and cooked through

  4. Finish:
    Brush with remaining glaze during the last few minutes for a sticky, glossy finish.

  5. Serve:
    Garnish with green onions or fresh lime. Serve with rice, grilled veggies, or on skewers for sharing.
