There's nothing like vinegar made from honey. This local small batch Honey Vinegar is made from 100% raw and unpasteurized Ontario honey. The various Honey Vinegar flavours range in taste, from sweet to malty. Both Honey and Vinegar have been known to have incredible healing properties and have been used for centuries for medicinal and culinary purposes.
To create the vinegar, honey wine is fermented further into natural, living, vinegar. Six months of aging before bottling creates a smooth and balanced flavour.
Honey Vinegar
Tasting Notes: A medium bodied vinegar with top notes of green fruit and a subtle base of warm, aromatic honey. Bright acidity in the finish. Excellent on salads and as a base in marinades.
Honey Raspberry Vinegar
Tasting Notes: A medium bodied vinegar with bright berry flavours over a sweet base of warm, aromatic honey. Medium acidity in the finish.
Honey Apple Cider Vinegar
Tasting Notes: A full to medium bodied vinegar with notes of apple cider and a subtle base of warm, aromatic honey. Medium acidity in the finish.
Honey Garlic Vinegar
Tasting Notes: A full bodied vinegar with top notes of mellowed garlic over a sweet base of warm, aromatic honey. Medium acidity in the finish.
Buckwheat Honey Malt Vinegar
Tasting Notes: A crisp vinegar with top notes of green apple over a base of malty spiciness. Brisk in the finish, this vinegar would pair well with bitter greens.
